The Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX) is the governmental agency of the Walloon Region of Belgium in charge of promoting foreign trade and attracting foreign investment. As an export partner for Wallonia-based companies, AWEX provides a wide range of export-oriented services (market surveys, organization of trade missions, participation in trade shows, export incentives, etc.) As a foreign investment agency, AWEX is the one-stop shop for foreign investors interested in investing in Wallonia. Being present in Slovakia since 1992 and representing also hub.brussels since 2003, AWEX plays an important role for Slovak clients in organizing networking opportunities and connecting them with potential business partners from Walloon and Brussels Region.
